Water is a vital and key component to every successful frac, and the manner in which it is used can have great affect on the environment.  While source water may appear to be stable on the surface, when its transferred, mixed with other chemistries or pumped under high pressures into hydrocarbon rich reservoirs, it can accumulate contaminants, such as solids, bacteria and H₂S, all of which can be detrimental to your production and the environment.
