Behavior Based Safety (BBS)

Multi-Chem uses a Behavior Based Safety approach to HS&E by focusing on the employee’s actual behavior to influence his or her safety.

Through a continuous process of observations, statistical analysis and discussions with our employees, chemical specialists and management, we create customized, relevant and research-supported strategies to improve the way our team works and behaves regarding their health and safety. By recognizing both positive and unsafe behaviors, reinforcing our policies and procedures and recognizing those employees successfully exercising those procedures, we are able to promote a safer work environment. Heightened awareness in the workplace translates to a new consciousness of safety at home, behind the wheel and is contagious to our families and customers.

Establishing a safe working behavior internally not only keeps people safe, but it also brings better service to our customers, giving them the confidence that we are doing everything we can to protect them and their investments during production.
