Response Planning

Multi-Chem has taken on the responsibility of developing comprehensive plans to address any potential scenario or emergency where Multi-Chem products are involved in an incident. In addition to scenario planning, we continuously provide proper training for such incidents as well as contract 3rd party responders to assist in addressing potential incidents that might be beyond our own response capabilities.

Plan responsibilities are shared by the entire Multi-Chem team, including:
  • Facility Personnel: Personnel are responsible for reviewing and understanding Response Plans through ongoing training and drills.
  • Facility/Area Managers: Facility/area mangers are responsible for implementing and following all elements of the Response Plans, which includes assuring that all facility personnel are aware and up to date on all elements and procedures.
  • EHS/DOT Department: EHS/DOT Department is responsible for conducting all training and drills necessary for emergency response, as well as notifying facility managers and personnel of any changes made to the plan requirements. In addition, they are responsible for reviewing the elements of the plans annually and incorporating any necessary modifications, while also coordinating any communication with local emergency agencies and contracts with third party response, clean up and remediation.
