Multi-Chem Surfactants to Improve Your Oil and Gas Production

Through the strategic use of Multi-Chem’s line of surfactants (wetting agents), you can reduce surface tension and remove formation minerals that are “trapped” in your fracture face, making it easier to recover produced fluids and extract oil or gas.

Benefits
  • Increases initial production during fracturing
  • Overall production enhancement for gas and oil
  • Allows water to move solids into or through pores in underground reservoirs
  • Reduces formation damage eliminating emulsion blocks caused by other frac additives

Oil wet solids often become “trapped” between the oil and water phases in a system because their density is intermediate to oil and water. When this happens, they can form a layer of coagulated solids or emulsions that can block the process vessel, becoming difficult or impossible to remove.

Multi-Chem’s surfactant chemical solutions are developed to interact with the surface of a liquid to change its properties, helping you lower the surface tension so that your fluids can better penetrate the formation, increasing your overall initial oil and gas production.

Each of the specialty chemicals used are electronically monitored and manually strapped for accuracy during the treatment to ensure proper concentrations. This, along with pre and post-frac testing, enables you to keep your fracturing process running at its most optimum performance.
